How it works
The Internet Book Project is a free collaborative story game, like a one word story or a story chain — but anyone online can join, and every story can branch. It all starts with a single word: Once.
- Add up to 11 words to continue any story. No account needed.
- Add to a line that already continues, and you fork a new branch of the story.
- Like the best lines, read any branch like a book, and share your line.
Write a story together with strangers, then see where the internet takes it. Read the stories or scroll up and add the next line.
